NASB inform the vice president of government relations – Executive Secretary of the New York Public Accounting chamber joining the executive

National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASB), an association dedicated to improving the efficiency of state plates 55 of the Accounting country, today named Daniel J. Dustin, CPA as Vice President Public Relations Council. He will join NASB 1, 2012 retirement of David A. Costello, NASB current president and CEO, and Ken L. Bishop, president and CEO succession.

Mr. Dustin currently serves as Executive Secretary of the New York State Board of Public Accountancy. Named by New York State Board of Regents in 1998, he is responsible for professional licensing, practice and conduct, including discipline professional Certified Public Accountants and Public Accountants in New York. The key point person of the regulatory process, Dustin monitor the development of professional practices in state and national level and develop and draft legislative proposals and amendments to the New York accounting rules.

NASB Public Relations will serve as an advocate of state boards of accountancy and find new ways and opportunities to provide support and services to its member boards. Dan will be a big plus for the team NASB and has exactly the qualities and attributes to meet this new position to ensure enhanced public advocacy boards. His work and influence executive in New York State Board of Public Accountancy has shown leadership skills and he will bring NASB, on behalf of our membership table, the incoming President and CEO of Ken L. Bishop.
