My side fringe has gone curly but not nice curly, bumpy curly. How can i make it flat or straight?

I’m having trouble keeping my fringe straight. .
It’ll be fine when I straighten it in the morning but I walk to school and by the time I arrive at school it has gone wavy and kind of oily and it separates
It’s so annoying!
